our Swedish House Mafia weekend
The men of Swedish House Mafia hold a very special place in our hearts. So when they were hosting a charity ball to help the victims of Sandy and a concert in the same weekend in NYC, who were we to say no to them?
Thursday night, we put on our best ball gowns and headed over to the Hammerstein Ballroom for the Black TIe Rave charity ball. Rachel had lost her voice by the end of Thursday night, and Nicole, her face, for having the most fangirl-ing sister in the ballroom.
On Sunday, we wore our t-shirts and jeans to Barclays to see the boys #ONELASTTIME. It was EPIC.

We were so stoked when we were invited to the Prom Girl Fashion Show last week. Even more to Rachel’s delight when we arrived to an ocean of pink, like literally, we were swimming in pink. To push Rachel’s pink obssesion even further, Prom Girl prepared pink princess cake pops for everyone! At this point, Nicole’s pink limits are put to some serious testing.
Payton Rae opened the show, and then the endless showcase of gowns started. We were so overwhelmed by the amount of tulle, glitter, and sparkle, in a good way of course! Who knew you could have THAT many dresses to choose from.

Charlotte Ronson’s SS13 Handbag Dinner Party
We were so kindly invited by Charlotte Ronson to her dinner party at Toy Restaurant (Ganservoort Hotel) where she previewed her bags from the upcoming Spring collection. Nicole was already in love with the bag packs when we saw them on the runway back in NYFW SS13. The fashion glitterati possy included some of our favorites, Mickey Boardman, Natalie Joos and of course the Ronson sisters themselves. And no Ronson party is complete without Samantha dropping some beats at the end of the night!
Rob Pruitt x Jimmy Choo Launch Party
Last night, Jimmy Choo on Bleecker street was a kingdom of rainbows, glitters and pandas (much to Rachel’s delight). The Jimmy Choo x Rob Pruitt launch party lived up to the glittery panda fun that was promised. With ombre cocktails and glitter cake pops, there certainly was enough sugar to go around. Good company was topped off with the presence of a photobooth, which as all of you know, makes us VERY VERY happy asian girls. We could go on and on about this party but it wouldn’t do it justice, so we bring you some visuals :)
